Random Thought

So, imagine the world ends. Not completely. Asteroid, Yellowstone, Plauge. Very few humans survive. But society starts again. Now, imagine it is 1000 years into this new future. Archaeologists come and look through our stuff. What happens if they can't find the movie "Goundhog Day?" Oh, sure, who cares? I mean, you died 1000 years ago. But the thing is, there are references to the movie through today's literature (literature including books, television, movies, songs). Groundhog Day has come to mean an never ending loop. But if the future people don't find the movie, however they find all the references, what will they think? They're going to think we worshiped this magical animal that controlled time. I'm just saying.
