We have a kind of wierd phenomenon going on here in Omaha: the tv news are telling people to watch out for dogs they put in their backyards because the drifts are now so high and frozen the dogs can walk up them and over the fences (I wish this were a joke). The front page yesterday had a photo of a sign in someone's front yard reading "free snow".
